A strong argument for searching this site before asking questions. There is a lot of info (and there are a lot of pictures) about
East/West leather here already. If it had been my size I would not have hesitated.

City Hall Subway Stop...
I have one. The original owner told me it was from 1955. He bought it in Rome when studying to be a priest. He then put it in a closet.
With steam it pops back to its blocked shape. Outstanding hat. Here it is:
Vintage Black Fedoras
Erykah Badu is a big deal. But here's a particularly interesting hat of hers (no comment on the holes).

I have worn two of these belts for years: http://www.leathergoodsconnection.com/rangerbelts.html
Excellent leather and work. I sent them my own buckles. Both belts are still going strong.
All vintage clothing presents a health risk. Leave it to the experts. Leather jackets are carcinogenic- aniline dyes
have been linked to bladder cancer. Older hats were made with mercury, for heaven's sake. Vintage wrist watches
contain radium. Do you have any idea the hazardous chemicals...
The REALLY good times of vintage SF were in Albany, Crockett, and Rodeo, when we could shop in places run by
the late Jon Lundberg and the amazing Art Fawcett. Now THOSE were the days.
No vintage jackets at Johnson. But if you own yours long enough...
The Golden Bear Factory - that's hilarious. I've been by many times and always assumed
it was a place to buy teddy bears. Never occurred to me it would be leather jackets.
