I used to have the ELC M-422a with the Gordon & Ferguson label. GREAT jacket! Sadly I outgrew it so I sold it afew years ago. Now the new, improved ELC M-422a is on my short list for a new jacket.
A story of this magnitude is certain to get everyone's attention, with emotions running high. It's no wonder that there are 158 pages of posts from anyone and everyone on TFL.

I don't think there was as much variation in the color of Navy M-422a jackets. Not sure if there was just better quality control at the Navy-contracted jacket makers or if goatskin was easier to tan and dye then horsehide, but it seems to me that Navy jackets were a more "uniform" shade of seal...
Wow! That's a great tale Big J, and one I'm glad to see had a satisfactory conclusion! Aero/Ken certainly went the extra mile to get it right. Kudo's to all involved! That is some first class customer service!!!

So, Aero has different patterns for their M-422a jackets? This seems a bit confusing since they don't specify this in their description; they go through the effort to make a jacket for a customer, presumably using their standard (?) G&F pattern, ship it out, see that it doesn't fit quite right...

Has anyone ever visited their shop in Arizona? I'd be curious to know what it looks like, the size of the store, the number of employees, on-hand stock of jeans/clothing, etc.
