I like it on the snug side when the jacket is new, some hides do stretch some don't but they give in when it's breaked in and it relaxes. Can you drive with it or hold the phone to your ear okay?
@Marc mndt @Tom71 @Robbie79 can help you here, they have plenty of experience with Thedi jackets. Marc has a great looking bruciato cross zip
I also have a Thedi in cowhide in the works so I'm eager to hear what they say. I chose a pattern similar to your original pick as I'm not too fond of...
Yep but that's okay, I had a great taco and michelada that day so guess I'll always have the stain to remember the meal and the incident by hehe
I never really wore boots before so I don't have any clue about that stuff but I'm learning. Now I atleast know to keep them away from alcohol based...
It is rather trim but man does it look good on photos!
That midnight PHWM you had looks great from the front but you can definitely tell from the back that there's something that can be improved upon fit wise and the cxl just accentuates that lol then again it's the pattern talking it's just...
Yes, don't go that route. The HWM pattern only works for some so better go the hybrid route. You don't have to go to TB, reach out to Aero direct.
Cordovan is really nice but this will most likely be my last cxl jacket. Mine looks brown most of the time indoors and lowlight setting but then...
Just goes to show @ton312 is my spirit jacket animal lol
Man I still can't believe why you let that SB go, that looked so cool and that's how a HWM should fit in my opinion
Well noted, that's unfortunate that happened to you to. Glad that it was taken to someone who was able to help you.
I'll probably just leave it alone. I'll probably make it worse if I try any more diy treatment to it lol if I ever go to a cobbler then I'll ask what they can recommend
Now we...
Congrats on getting a new jacket. Great start, the fit jacket they sent you is close to your real size. Sleeve length looks great maybe you can go 0.25"-3/8" longer to account for creasing, back length maybe needs to be 0.25-0.5 shorter. But it all depends on your personal preference at the end...
Thanks man, happy to share it here too. Body shape really is important in picking the patterns. I felt that there was a high chance of it still being boxy but I like the HWM look so I tried it anyways and it turned out great fit too. If I wanted a better fit the sheene would have suited my...
That's another option. Being so close to JL is both a blessing and an expensive trip lol how do those look?
*saw it, that looks like a good plan. I'll have them do that If it's not too invasive and expensive lol
And that's already the premier fit! It fits great in the shoulder/chest/hip but the midsection is still boxy for my build and i need more taper there. I should've went with the sheene/highwayman pattern instead but oh well. The pockets flaring out is most likely from placement itself, it's not...
Love that too, those two toned black/cords jackets are just beautiful jackets. I think maybe a darker shade of brown boots will work better with this jacket. Thanks @JMax and can't wait to see more of your Cals here
Whatever you go with I'm sure it will have great and functional design considering all the elements other members have pointed out. A fit jacket to dial everything in is a must for a project like this. Now I really cant wait to pick up my JL Vermont jacket
Aero Premier HWM in tumbled cordovan
I tried a mix of brown/black with the cordovan and it does work okay for my eyes/sense of taste. On hindsight I should have put hand warmer zippers to prevent them from flaring out.
Yeah man a little bit of fur can't hurt nobody lol thanks bud
That's true I hate shaving too and I'd grow a full beard if I could but not meant to be (patchy). I do like the stubbled look 4-6 days after a shave though
Benzein Cigar Horse Rump Chelseas. I love the look of lace up boots but slip on boots is where it's at lol
Do you guys have any clue if stains made by hand sanitizer like the one on the left will ever go away? I tried to spot clean it with a damp cloth and buff it out with a brush but not...
That seal over russet sounds very cool to me. My brown cxl jacket shows rust on high points as well which I think looks fabulous but seal brown will definitely look even better. Oh okay, didn't know Aero and Levi's go way back.
I wonder what that blue Bainbridge will show eventually.
