I had a 226 (9mm) and a 229DAO (40S&W) and I sold them because they were just to big for non-LEO carry. I replaced the 229 with a Sig "Nightmare" carry (.45) and it's ok but my Kimber 1911 was better made and more accurate (but gawd, what a PITA to reassemble after cleaning).
