Still in the Pendleton, but under a Borsalino short velour this morning.

Another dusting of snow last night.

Thanks Tim. My guess might be that it was some store brand. It's a later era hat, I would guess the 60s, but the felt is quite nice.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your friends, Bill. That Knox looks like the twin of the one I had on yesterday morning. Nice dense felt on these.
Michael
Thanks Randall. I'm happy with the way it has turned out so far. Still needs some finishing touches and I may use it as a test bed for a few different ribbons.
Thanks,
Michael
Thanks Eric. I think the hat turned out pretty well. Still needs a bit of work and I may try a few different ribbons on it, but I'm happy to have it wearable for now. The Topster is a great jacket. Perfect for lounging in my cold rooms this winter and, as you say, a great spring jacket as...
This hat came to me sans sweatband. Only ID is on the liner as Royal Beaver Custom Made "20". I worked today on reblocking and flanging it and sewing in a new used sweatband.

Much colder and windier than it was yesterday at this time. And a dusting of snow has shown up.

Warm morning, I hear it will be cooling down soon. Fortunately our inch of precip yesterday came as rain and not snow or ice.

Well ain't that cool. So it's vying with my very similarly colored and dimensioned Dobbs Sixteen Fifty for oldest wide brimmed fedora in my collection.
Thanks,
Michael
I was guessing something in the mid 50s area, but based on little evidence. Here is the label

Thanks Hector. This might be my favorite OR, from my small stable.
Thanks all,
Michael
I found this pair yesterday. I think they are some sort of sport shoes.

They've had rubber taps glued onto the sole and heel, but as you see there is no real heel. Nor is there...

The forecast says we are slated for around an inch of rain today and tonight. Unusual to say the least.

It is a nice one. Any idea on an age for it?
Man those Borsalino models that start with a G are nice. I don't think I've run across a brown homburg around here, in my size or any other. I guess the same could be said for a brown derby. Ha ha.
That is a killer hat, Jeff. Love that color...
My new Borsalino is going to take a look around town today.

Have a great Friday,

Bummer. I haven't noticed any weakness in the leather on this one. I'm hoping none shows up because I like the look quite a lot.
Thanks Gamma. It would work out a lot better if we would continue to have the spring like weather we've had for the last few days. Ha ha. I"m happy we made the...
You are probably right, it's me that is green after seeing your lineup today.
It is a nice one for sure. And a great fit, which is always nice.
Yer killin' me here. What a lineup.
Thanks,
Michael
