I’ll keep a look out for them, but I doubt I’ll see any of the ‘push dagger’ style as these are illegal in the U.K. - as are flick knives, butterfly knives and knuckle dusters/knuckle duster knives.
I often see the small Bowie style ‘Scout Knives’ they sell for around £20-£25. Daggers (double edged) like the Fairburn Sykes Commando style cost a good deal more but you can still buy them new £53.50 from the Famous Sheffield Shop. https://www.sheffield-made.com/

I’ve still got a few favourites left over from my fountain pen collecting days. About twenty years ago I even went in a one day course to learn how to fix them. The course was taught by Arthur Twydle (father of Peter who now runs the website, (http://penmuseum.co.uk/index.html),

Look out for McNeill leather bags on eBay and Etsy. This German firm used to produce a variety of styles of ‘handmade’ natural leather briefcases with a shoulder strap and backpack straps. Sold prices vary from £9 to over £100 depending on condition and whether the straps are still present (but...
Just got this beauty from eBay £77. No makers marks but it’s natural veg tanned leather with a few water marks - barely used - the stitching is still white. (I gave it a light coat of Pecards).

I’m selling a strange device for a friend - it’s in Classifieds under the same heading as above. As it only really relates to this section I’m flagging it up here. Even if you’re not interested in buying it it’s worth checking out the links I’ve copied into the listing which explain how such...
I think it more likely that this jacket has been ‘recycled’. Dealers source a lot of their stock from ‘rag pickers’. Mixed clothing from recycling centres has been shoved into a recycling bin, unloaded in a tangle into a van or lorry possibly bailed and later picked over and sorted for sale...
Nice work and very creative love it!
- I made one a few years ago using the traditional Roman Army method -pile a dome of sand to preferred size on a flat brick base (I used a leftover section of polished granite work surface), cover with ‘leaves’ (wet newspaper) thick layer of clay loam (sand...
Send your pics to Lewis Leathers and they’ll tell you if it’s one of theirs - and send you a pic of the item in the catalogue if they have it. They won’t however supply a new label if it is one of theirs.
Here’s the link to the epic military page - says they’re by the same manufacturers who supply the Russian military
