Yes, a good sun hat and even a spine pad can help with that in those climates. The British discovered that first hand.
And yes, back on track...

Here is a good source for vintage inspired bowling shirts. I believe Alton Brown even has some of these.

Sgt. Maxfield Hurlbut Dunlap at the Marine Corps base at Parris Island, SC, May 1942.
Weapon training.
I know that there are many more of ours and our allies Nations heroes to show off in their pith helmets but I only had time today for these few. Hope you...
And honestly Sarge, who wouldn't?:D But, we are here to discuss & display pith helmets in all their forms. Sorry to be a buzz kill.;)
Here are a few shots of films involving H.M. Stanley and Dr. Livingstone.
Stanley & Livingstone (1939)
and of course the real H.M. Stanley

Here as some great shots of Bing in his fez and suit from The Road to Morocco, I may be able to put together a nice outfit to go with this red topper.
These were just a few that I could find. It's a shame this film wasn't done in Technicolor.

Huzzah! can't wait to see your Churchill Straw. :D
And now for something completely different, the latest acquisition. In the words of the 11th Doctor Who, "Fez's are cool."
I think...

Cheers!

Cheers!
