A few nights ago, something called, “Jameson and the Giant Peach.” Jameson (obviously) and something peachy (obviously) plus other stuff (obviously). They were really good and too easy to drink so we had a couple of carafes. It was a really entertaining evening.
:D
Like I am sure with many here, the first two episodes of Ken Burn’s documentary on Ernest Hemingway. At first, I kept thinking of Dumb and Dumberer every time I heard Jeff Daniels speaking as Hemingway, but I got over it. As with everything I have seen of Burn’s, it is entertaining.
:D
We watched Shetland up until it moved to BritBox (or is it Acorn?). It is a nice show. At some point I will most likely subscribe to whichever it is site currently on. The same goes for Doc Martin.
:D
Mission: Impossible-Fallout
I had forgotten how entertaining this movie is. A great cast, great cinematography, great action, great stunts, pretty darn great all around. It’s got me looking forward to the next installment in the series.
:D
A couple more episodes of The Lost Pirate Kingdom. It appears the budget was pretty limited as they continue to use the same computer generated scenes over and over. It feels like watching an episode of Ancient Aliens on the somewhat History Channel with its goofy set of experts blabbering...
I enjoy Harper enough, but only because Harper (the detective) is the Ross MacDonald character, Lew Archer. MacDonald is one of my favorite authors. Sadly, Harper (the movie) doesn’t measure up well to MacDonald’s much more entertaining stories.
:D
That is another great way to eat asparagus. But of course most anything with garlic, garlic salt, or garlic powder on it is better than it was. Garlic is magic!
:D

Although I gave you a “like” I had to skip your review of The Case of the Velvet Claws as I am trying decide if I should read Walter Mosley’s Devil in a Blue Dress or the aforementioned. I have wanted to read a Perry Mason story since watching the HBO series, but I really would like to read...
A little Voodoo Glow Skulls and Throw Rag. I used really enjoy seeing these bands play live. Saw Voodoo Glow Skulls playing with the Rev and Big Sandy a few years back; what a great show. :D
