50s (?) Dobbs milan, 7 1/2
Is this a pretty snug 7 1/2 or more to the looser side? I am in between a 7 1/2 and 7 5/8 and am wondering if this will work for me. You normally wear a 7 3/8 right?- Jeremy T Garner

Does that by chance help to give it a time period range of manufacture (in the event that this hat doesn't have any additional info under the sweat)? Looking for some help dating this Boater I just landed from the Bay. The venerable @Redfokker tipped me off to this one and the gent selling it gave me a great deal. With a tip from @Redfokker i just picked up this Master Mode Custom boater from the Bay. I'm not sure of its vintage and wasn't able to find much about the company that made it but for what I settled on a price for it the quality looks excellent and I am tickled.- Jeremy T Garner

Holy s%*@! That hat is absolutely stunning! The color of the felt with that ribbon is perfect! I agree on open crown but that factory crease is about as gorgeous a profile as one could hope for!
