    Old gas stations

You certainly could eat a lobster roll for breakfast, but they're more of a lunch item. Think shredded lobster meat and mayo in a grilled hot-dog bun. Tasty, but overpriced these days.

And actually, I just realized you can see the fluting on the bumper guards in the picture, which makes it a 1949 definitively.

Looking into it, I'd say that is a 1949 Nash 600, possibly the Deluxe Business Coupe*. Styling changes are minimal between 1949 and '50--primarily an enlarged rear window and heavier bumper guards in 1950. I think it's a 600 because with where the woman is standing, I think a "Statesman" script...

That's a 1949 or '50 full-size Nash. I think it's a 600 (1949) or Statesman (1950), as it doesn't look quite long enough to be an Ambassador. You can tell it's no later than 1950 because the rear fenders are still rounded.

    B-1, B-2 and other rare/early jackets

I'm always glad to see another thread on inter-war flight jackets. Given my propensity for driving drafty old vehicles with questionable heat in the dead of winter (i.e. my upcoming '23 Ford touring car), I've fancied a B-2 in particular as being the ultimate piece of kit. I'd also like to get...

It's also worth noting that while the Studebaker V-8 was small by 1960s standards, it was a respectable powerplant in its own right, and acquitted itself well in Golden Hawks, GT Hawks, and not a few Larks. An R-2 mill in a '53 Starlight would be a good combination!

Studillacs were a product of Bill Frick and went beyond a mere engine swap. Frick bought new Studebaker coupes and new Cadillac V-8s and combined them in his shop. He also went through the entire Studebaker and "tuned up" the body and chassis, fixing a lot of the quality issues that were endemic...

I have a set of those coveralls. I bought them deadstock at a barn sale. The dark parts are red on mine.

    Replica pre-war Hawaiian shirts?

No idea if this is authentic or not, but when I came across this shirt on eBay this morning, I couldn't help but think it might be a good finding aide in this thread.

Another great pic of Dunkle's. I plan to write this car up at some point.

    Hawaiian Shirts - Aloha Shirts

Wonderful shirt, Fading Fast! Very much my style. I wish I had noticed your earlier post, as I probably would have attempted to get in on that.

    Your golden-era model railroads!

There is a fellow on Instagram who models the Boston & Maine in the area where I live during the 1940s. Some of his shots are incredible.

Dan had those made by Mattimore Boots in Laramie, Wyoming. He was a bit intimidated by them at first, but now he loves them. @101 Pathfinder I believe the Barnstormers did show up on YouTube a bit, though alas I was called home early Saturday morning to deal with a sick kiddo and missed all the...
