Sweatband was dry rotted and utterly destroyed upon receipt. As such it has been removed and discarded. Still a rare felt only in need of a new sweatband. Am tempted to take it to Black Sheep Hat Works and have a new sweat installed in my size but thought...
Here's my devil's advocate moment for the day, Max:
For the amount of $$ you seem willing to shell out I think you'll find that hats made prior to 1940 are of significantly higher quality than all of these "fifty" and "100" hats from the 50's and 60s.
