    Goat vs. Steer

Agreed. Having the buttons on the underside of my wrists rather than the side is a bit odd. Because of my work (cabinet maker) I'm always mindful of any metal or sharp objects that may collide with a finished product. This jacket would fail as job safe for me. Not that I wear many leather...

    Goat vs. Steer

Haha. Definetly not a secret. This was a eBay purchase. I asked for a company name, but the seller said there isn't one and that he works with a local tailor. Whether or not that is the truth I don't know.

What do you guys think? I am still a rookie when it comes to quality control on these jackets. The leather is extremely soft! Softer than any of my others by far. Fit is good, had they tailored it for me I'd have the waist brought way in. But other than that i can't complain. The wrists are...

    Goat vs. Steer

Thank you guys for all the info! Very helpful. I asked them to continue with goat hide instead of steer. @dan_t I asked the seller twice for any info on the company manufacturing these jackets and all I got was that he was working with a local tailor "no name" and they specialize in multiple...

My cross-button jacket from Cidu Genuine Leather Brand (China), or "The Handymike Re-Dye job"

Let me know if you get one Ton. Since we're very similar in size. I'm a little nervous for our broader backs squeezing into these.

Beautiful jacket! I recently sent a photo very similar to that jacket to a tailor in Australia & asked if they could make me a jacket as close to the photo as possible. He stated that they could. Then asked if I wanted goat or steer. Hence my thread! What are the odds of this? Lol. I chose black...

    Goat vs. Steer

Thanks to my obsessive behavior I've purchased several leather jackets in a short amount of time. (Don't tell my wife) Some of them I regret, some I'm in love with. Some really nice Aeros, vintage Golden Bear & Schott. Some no name cheaper made knock around jackets. Some horsehide & steerhide...
