aero long half belt fit pic
How old is the jacket? If it's already well broken in / 1yr, then the sleeves are perfect since it's already creased up to how its going to be. If it's new, then I would definitely want a bit more length to be on the safe side.- jpk_NJ

Yep, price reflects all flaws. Still much much cheaper than a brand new custom from Aero. $10 at the local tailor and fixed in 30min. Or leave it as is and fit a giant iPhone ;)- jpk_NJ

If memory serves me, in one of my chats with Vanson, the original tannery they were using went out of business and they were trying new sources. That would definitely explain a much wider variation in hides. As for sourcing your own leather, I would only maybe attempt that with a 50% discount...- jpk_NJ

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?
The new Vansons always shock me with the jump in back length from 40 to 42. Creates a problem for me as well. It's almost a 42 L instead of just a true 42 with more chest room. Love the 3/4 style when deep fall / early winter arrive. Who made that one?? Nice color on the mouton too. Im trying to concoct a way to turn my red rust color Aero mouton into that dark blonde/brownish tone! Might resort to "just for men" beard color haha- jpk_NJ
