I like the Rocking J B No. 1 Quality out of the 1956 catalog.

I haven't seen an OR clone offered by Resistol in years.
I'm sure to do this special order they slapped a Resistol liner & sweat in Stetson OR's coming off the production line.
The Stetson OR has been offered in 4X & 6X but gets the 5X from Resistol adding so much to the meaning of HatCo X's....
A custom hatter uses basically the same materials as the others but has to amass a great deal of equipment & skills plus some individual techniques that are their "secrets".
How that manifests into a hat dictates what a hatter can charge & the appreciation by folks determines who is willing to...
Resistol had its version of the Open Road which is what LBJ wore since it was Texas made....
HatCo uses a different dye recipe for Resistol Silverbelley than Stetson too.
In Florida, go with Artlite & vented. Dove is incredible color, so is Natural. 5 5/8 open crown, 2 5/8 brim width. Matching bound edge, let Art do his magic on the ribbon....
Yep, I like them right nicely. I had some Justin Super Ropers in smooth ostrich about the same color & same toe profile.
These are definitely a better made boot with top notch skins.
I have a vintage one, 7 5/8 US, that is not getting any head time.
It is a nice but not pristine example of pre-factory move Borsalino.
Let me know if you a looking to go vintage...
Look at the Miller Catalog thread for that time period & you'll see what Jared means about all the models close to that configuration.
That was his personal hat from what I recall from RBH's posts a while back.
