I bought this jacket and thought it was going to fit my needs, but I am going to have to let it move along. I just want to recoup what I spent on it. Still has tags. Roughly a size 44R.
X-Large 44
Back length--27 inches
Sleeve length--27 inches
Pit-to-pit--23.5 inches
Shoulder--19.25 inches...
I would like to bump this thread as I am in search of someone who can "take up" (imagine cutting out about 2" of the side panels on each side of the jacket) the girth of my Aero Cafe racer and re-secure the primary zipper catch--as it is coming undone. I live on the East coast, but I am not...
Hahahaha! It did shrink a little, but I did not notice a specific loss of dimension, more of an overall shrinkage. I would love it to be about 4" smaller in the torso! :-)
Good afternoon Edward,
The pillion seat (according to my wife) is comfortable enough for an hour or two ride, nothing more. That is about all we (she and I) plan for her to ride. Its really nothing more than a way for her to enjoy the bike with me on a pretty day.
I agree with you completely...
It's funny you mentioned that as I 'just' got out of a tub of HOT water with this thing on. I'm risking strange shrinking in the name of a more snug fit...

Finally got around to buying the bike that goes with the jacket. :-) Please pardon the shoes, but I was in a hurry to get down to the dealership so I just threw on what I could find quickly.
That one is a spectacular belt from Thedi Leathers in Greece. It has a hand-forged sand-casted brass buckle and it just keeps getting better with age. I did a review on it a couple of years ago. (Here)

One thing I failed to mention... the price of these things have skyrocketed from around $350, when I first became aware of these boots, to an astonishing $550 now. I jumped on the opportunity to own these for the $300 I paid.
Hello loungers,
I am very excited right now. I just received a new (to me) pair of Alden 403, Brown, Chromexcel Indy Boots.
This is the second pair of Aldens I have owned. The first pair was the 405. Although I paid almost full price for them they must have been seconds as the heel pad was...
Here I present to you, two of my favorite belts.
