    Field Leathers

Looks fantastic on you, congrats! FYI, The number 5 zipper is all Greg has in brass anyway, so you didn't have much choice (I asked). Also...am I the only one who actually thinks creases in leather jackets should be present? For menswear tailoring, no I wouldn't want creases on a jacket...

Congrats on the sale! I would have bought this instantly if I didn't already have the same exact jacket. :)

    Advice on custom Aero (Ridley)

I have a 42" chest and have a size 42 Ridley which has a 22.5" pit to pit. The Ridley isn't really a layering jacket IMO, but if you want to do that it would depend on how thick of a layer you would want, but more importantly how often you would want to layer. It's not going to be a slim fit...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

For me, I think the slim arms and the "neat fit" of the RMC could be what drives the incongruous nature in my mind with the very wide leg. I just think a jacket with more "slouch" would be more appropriate for those trousers; something like an A-2 or Indy jacket. I do think the Caboose looks...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I have the same thoughts as @Monitor here Jake. You have an incongruous look if you ask me as you are wearing a slim fit cross zip jacket with wide leg trousers, and the contrast is too great. In my opinion, slimmer trousers would make a more harmonious outfit. I love everything on their own...

Best Jacket for on and off the bike

You’re going Ducati, I would stick with a vintage or vintage style Dainese.

    Field Leather Custom Manhattan

Greg told me the same thing. He's been bombarded from 40 different people because of that video. I haven't seen it yet, but I came to the realization that I needed to execute and take action before he got too far behind. I've been following Greg on IG just about since the Field Leathers...

    Shinki vs Badalassi - elasticity

I would have zero problems with getting a Vicenza jacket wet. I think you're overthinking it.

That thread does suck though lol and they often post up horrendous looking jackets. FCL is their golden goose though so that's why it's such a big deal over there.

    Fine Creek Leather

That's not entirely true. SE told him he had to ship it back to FCL in Japan himself and that they (Selfedge, not FCL) would cover the return shipping, any import duties back to the USA, AND any costs that FCL MIGHT charge to repair the jacket. A shitstorm ensued and basically SE upped their...

New jacket! The Real McCoy A-1

I do agree with your suggestion to get the sleeves shortened and call it a day instead of taking a 1k hit on a resale. Certainly it won't cost that much to shorten the sleeves.

    Fine Creek Leather

My biggest problem with that ripped seam FCL was not the construction or that it even ripped, but rather the response by the retailer and FCL themselves. He got hosed man and I'm not sure I would do business with either again.
