There was a study that showed we care much more about how we look and worry too much about what people around think. Most people wouldn't notice whatever we noticed is wrong with our outfit.
In practice, we can get away with much more than we generally believe we can :)
Good recap.
@Cyber Lip , resorting to personal attack because you do not have what it takes to have a normal conversation with decent arguments is not doing you any favours.
I honestly still have a problem coming up with my favourite ten jackets so my favourite two....
There are some jackets I prefer to others, there are some that fit better than others, there are some that are better made then others... True. But overall I like most of my jackets, maybe the fact...

This was in regards to a white deerskin jacket with the wonkiest of stitchings
There are more examples if you look at his postings
Edit: examples not "ezamples" lol
In short, whenever there were threads relating a bad experience with Himel, it would build up until we got a long rant by Himel as to how either he was unfairly criticised or how the mistake was made by one of his staff while he was away, or some such...

@MrProper , public transport does not always go exactly where you want, you do need to walk the last part :)
And that is the issue!
The reason I have no FL is because they could not get my fit right.
Speccing custom numbers for a jacket with an experienced maker is like taking public transport and telling the driver how to do his job.
5* is unique in the sense that they put you in the driver seat and let you crash if you are not exoperienced enough.
Was out for a while and completely missed on this thread.
A few points:
- If you want the heaviest horse, than you are likely to get it from LW since they have their own tannery and use the whole skin. Not just the front quarters. Yes, some parts of the jacket can be made of Horse butt as well...
I see that @Carlos840 explained much better than I ever could. The leather is still the same, it just breaks in easier. that's it. There is no "it was better before" aspect in this instance.
If Stuart wanted to make the old recipe, he would have to make a whole batch of leathers this way, and...
The newer jackets break in quicker, but even older ones will break in with daily wear.
This is my first LW, made with the older batch of leather that takes longer to break in: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/lost-worlds-suburban-one-year-in.90515/
