    Went to smoke with my father yesterday and he pulled out this Peterson house pipe. Completely dirty! In the first pic you cannot even tell the band is silver due to tarnish. Of course, I took it home to clean up for him. It drives me nuts that he has several high end pipes that he does not...

    You don’t necessarily need to dry out the whole tin at once. Take out a pipes worth and let it dry. You can experiment to see how it works best for you.

    If the tobacco is wet it may need to dry a little. Also how tightly you pack the pipe makes a big difference. Keep trying.

    This Strand spends most of its time in a drawer. As I look at it, I can’t say what I don’t like about the blast and I like the shape, but I usually end up picking something else. I’ll put some Dark Twist in it this afternoon. (After I polish the silver)
