Fantastic tie, Eric, as well as clip and lapel pin.
I also had one of those Reddy Kilowatt tie clips, but I gifted it to a friend for his birthday a few years back. He wears it on the bow of his hat.
Hiked out this morning to see what's left of an old ore crusher hidden within the Ruffner Mountain nature preserve. No hat pic because the 93% humidity had me doing without.
Not old, but these have been extinct in my neck of the woods for a couple of decades at this point. I was pretty excited to spot this one at a fairly new looking travel center right off the interstate.
Heck.... I use em as plates and platters. Every dish in my house came from the second hand store. Figure even the finest restaurants I've ever dined in fed me on used plates.
Thanks. These were, fortunately, in stock in my size. I have some Wesco engineer boots that I waited a year for. They're totally worth it, but I'd have been hard pressed to do that again.
Thank you, Eric. I had to look up the Stitchdown Thunderdome. Sounds like fun. Good luck if you decide to take part....although I don't know how much serious patina these boots will have after only 6 months, even if I did everything AND slept in them. They're built like tanks.
