Custom jacket advice
For your budget, don't rule out something from Vanson. Their Octagon brown is really nice. Do you really need custom for some reason?- Surferbruce

shrinking aero anyone?
Seems like the best thing to do to counteract any natural leather shrinkage is just to wear your jacket a lot.- Surferbruce

I stretched out my Vanson (w/ the heavy comp. weight steer) quite a bit after a few months of use. I wiped it down really good with some rubbing alcohol and just went to town on it. I mostly wanted to get another inch or so out of the sleeves, and it really worked well. I was actually standing...- Surferbruce

Couple of cafe racers (Vanson and Brooks)
Seb the Vanson weighs in at about 4.25 lbs and the back measures 25" from the base of the collar. They really do take some time to break in, but at this point it's great to wear. If I was going to change anything I'd have the upper back nipped in just a hair, or maybe go with slightly higher...- Surferbruce
