I have one hat in particular that is very unique, one I haven't seen before. This got me wondering who else here has a once in a lifetime never before seen hat? I have a relatively small collection compared to a lot you guys here, so I know I can't be the only one.

Here is mine,

Stetson "Superior Quality Boater" The Longmont.

When I purchased this, I was fairly new to hats and didn't realize how rare this was. Now, 3 years later, this is still the only "Superior Quality" Stetson I have seen.

Excellent thread idea, and a perfect hat to start it off - your boater is one of those unique hats that has had me stumped since first seeing it.

My contributions are: '3X Kettle Finish Boss Raw Edge', Schoble 'Spinner', and Dobbs 'Duvay'.

Here are a couple of reruns of hats I've posted previously:

A Sussex:

And a Resistol:

The full thread on these two is here.

I've got a few more that I need to photograph and post...

Cheers,
Tom

We've had some discussion on this hat previously, some think it may be a woman's hat. I think it may have been part of a uniform for a doorman, or something along those lines.

Regards,
Tom
