There's no question: Bert Wheeler and Robert Woolsey. The duo that saved RKO from the Depression. Hardly remembered today.

Well, Wheeler and Woolsey weren't exactly a *couple.*

Except maybe in "So This Is Africa."

Or that Paris scene in "Diplomaniacs."

Or the middle third of "Peach O' Reno".

Or that scene on the ship rail in "Rio Rita"

Hmmmm. Well, maybe they were.

All of the above, but for me also, Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn had a great chemistry thing going on between them :D

"......It was always Tracy and Hepburn....The billing never chaged: the gentelman preceded the lady. Once when asked why was this, Spencer said-'Why not? - his face full of innocence. 'Well after all,' his friend replied, 'she's the lady. You are the man. Ladies first?' 'This is a movie, showerhead,' said Spence, 'not a lifeboat......" lol lol lol

got to love them! :D
