Uncle Maxie. Betty, Bimbo, CoCo, Grampy and on and on. Just look at the constant motion of the characters. It was as if a jazz band were playing in their heads.

The Great Stone face. His roles showed a depth of character that never seemed to occur to LLoyd. Astounding athleticism, classic facial features, great directing and innovation and an imagination far beyond those of mortal man. We are less as a species with the loss of Buster.

St. Ignatz, a neighbor of mine worked closely with Keaton during the comedian's final 15 years. This neighbor was given the last porkpie hat that Keaton ever shaped and wore on film. I've seen it: a wonderful thing.
OOOOOOOOh! Any chance of getting and posting pics? I would love to see some close-up shots.

I can watch the scene in S.B.jr over and over as Buster is taken into the haberdashers and has hat after hat thrust upon his head by his pop, trying on his pork pie and moving on. Mesmerizing!

It's sort of a poll.

Choice #1: Walt Disney or Max Fleischer?

Choice #2: Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd or Buster Keaton?

Max Fleischer & Harold Lloyd

though I would choose Tex Avery over Fleischer

Fleischer (though Disney my a childhood favourite)
and Keaton (though Lloyd was my childhood favourite).

Nowadays, I'd probably choose Max Linder over Lloyd/Chaplin/Keaton
And Tex Avery over Fleischer

Never read those. Though, I like being surrounded by closet nerds. lol

I prefer Doctor Who. ;) But, that's not what we're here for.

I'm not in the closet. It's dark and where the monster lives. And of course Miss Golightly agrees with you...FLadies all stick together...
