You know you are getting old when:

Last sunday, when we drove to my father in hospital in neighbour-smalltown, my mother only gets in because of the Corona-shit and I waited outside. While waiting, a couple parked right in front of the entrance and the woman brought her man into, by supporting him. Because you have to ring in the lobby and wait until you can speak through the intercom with the hospital admission, I also heard, that shey said her man is 38.
I don't know, but to me, beeing 36, he looked older, more like a 45 year old.

Or has my cognition changed? :D

I was startled the first time the barber asked if it was ok to trim my eyebrows. Now, I hope he will do so automatically. Goes without saying.

I know, right? I was taken aback the first time too. That was something my dad had done! So my response has typically been "if you think they need it." Recently I've been searching for a new barber (the latest, of about five, seems to be a keeper) and this last one didn't do my eyebrows and I genuinely missed it. Not so fond of this Edward Teller thing I've got going on.

Girls: Billie Eilish
Me: Who?
Girls: She's a famous pop singer, what, you've never heard of her?
Me: Famous pop singer? Like Shaun Cassidy, or Leif Garrett, or Tiffany or Debbie Gibson?
Girls: Who?
Me: QED
QED? Who's in that band? :D

Or you only ever hear the Muzak cover version on elevators.

...you read the obituaries first instead of sports news, or read news papers at all.
Not too long ago I stopped by a newsstand and bought an old fashioned paper newspaper. Kid at the counter made some comment that I was old school or something like that. I said I missed reading an actual newspaper with my coffee. Staring at electronics is not the same.

I was car-driver, three times the last days. I drove my parents to the doc, etc., in their car.
And did it feel great, after a long time? Nope. It felt the same as in my last year as car-driver, 2017. Boring.

I think, I'm old.
