Some of those I had seen before but many I hadn't. I always love photos showing real, everyday people of the era instead of overly-styelized shots.

Since Kodachrome has been discontinued, people 70 years from now won't be seing that sort of color shots of us.

The images are so striking, because the lighting is so theatrical in many cases. Some almost look like they could be staged movie stills. You don't see that much in this kind of photography of that time.
