Hello,

Anyone interested in selling a Fine Creek, McCoys, Flat Head, or anything of that ilk in 42 or 44?

I purchased a beautiful Freewheelers jacket from a member a few months back, but I'm still itching for that shiny horse shinki cafe racer that always seems to be on my horizon. Help me stop chasing . . .

Thank you Gents.

Well worth the investigation.

Having all but the FH in my closet, I'd highly recommend you try a few on before making a final decision. While all are similar, I've found the fit to be the biggest variance between Japanese made CRs. My Fine Creek CR does not fit the same as my RMC CR. And both of these jackets fit differently than my IH CR. On top of that, while all are tagged the same size (42), some fit like a 40, 44, 38.

Definitely worth the pursuit, just save yourself some time and money by ensuring you get the jacket that fits you the best. IMHO

Thank you, I appreciate the wise advice. While the the FW I purchased is a work of art and I love handling it, I'm not sure I like the fit. I live near a Self Edge store so I will head over there and try on some of these jackets.

What are the measurements that you are looking for?

My chest, relaxed and no shirt, 45 inches. I have a Ship John Wills jacket that measures 23p2p and that’s a good fit for me with a medium to lightweight layer. A snug fit, like my Wills, is what I’m looking for. Do you have something? Thanks.
