putting this out there in case someone has a jacket they dont want/wear anymore & need to make some room in the wardrobe, would prefer Walnut but would also consider Black, needs to be in ok condition (not beaten to hell) PM with what you have as I dont check in here that often these days since the demise of Tapatalk.

Hi mate, don't suppose you have a 42 you want to trade for a 40? I've got a walnut 40L but my 42R fits a little better.

sorry no, I had a 44 in black and walnut a while back both were way to big so long gone if you decide to sell your 40 keep me in mind, out of intrest would these measurements match your 40 long?

@Thuggee, please be aware that ELMC Californian
usually goes almost a size smaller, @ProteinNerd has quite an athletic and svelte frame too.

pity S&S don’t have a jacket in the Walnut their pricing seems ok for new although I would get held over a barrel by DHL and their admin/customs fees - my chest size is around 39inchs so I’m still thinking I need a 40???

thanks may I ask did this fit you ok, and what is your chest size?
It had become way too small for me, that's why I sold it.

My chest circumference is 43'. The californian in size 42 is a perfect fit for me.

According to your chest circumference I would say size 40r would be a good fit for you.

TBH the biggest difference between the 40 and 42 is more in the body than in the shoulder an pit to pit imo.

Exactly, that's what I'm talking about. ELMC Californian in size 42 fits like size 39-40.

Still looking bump
@Thuggee , if anybody offers you size 40Long which possibly might be a bit too long for you - please let me know, I need Long version of size 40 mostly because of the sleeves (I need sleeves about 25.5"++ measured straight). Something else in high quality leather range (Badalassi CH, Shinki HH, Victory HH etc) might be interesting too. From my side, if I find size 40Regular, I'll surely let you know mate!

I'd let my 40L go if I could replace it with a 42R. (walnut)

So if anyone sees this and has a 42 or if @Thuggee or @Lebowski, you find a 42 in your search let me know and we can set up a trade.

The new ones are just too expensive these days for me to take the price difference hit for the small improvement in fit.
