Hey folks!

Sisyphus here - just pushing another boulder up a hill and looking for the perfect white tee shirt. Not trying to spend retail on something I’m not sure I’ll like.

Looking for good condition and minimal wear. Located in Texas, USA.

Thanks for lookin!

What are you looking for in a tshirt? I’ve had three Eastman T-shirts and in my experience they are unreliable sized and cut (I had to send one back as it was unwearable, and even with photographs and measurements that they confirmed themselves when they got it back, that were way off their listed size measurements, they wouldn‘t accept that it was their issue). One of the three is really good though, and one is acceptable but I chose other T-shirts over it more often than not. Sunspel are good quality and worth looking for sale prices -musclefitbasics.com are probably my favourite in T-shirts.

The cut - especially the collar and how wide it is towards the shoulders is something I really like. Also a lighter weight, cut long enough to tuck in without being a PITA to adjust, and the shorter more vintage ish sleeve are what I like here.

Pretty wild that they were all so far off from one another. Were the shirts you bought from Eastman bought close together or over years? Maybe a switch in production if the latter?

I bought two together that are the most similar and then one only a matter of weeks later, but could have feasibly been different batches for sure. The last one was so much smaller though that it was unwearable, and the first two are a bit roomy, so it was a significant difference. The guy I spoke to at Eastman was an idiot, frankly. Even though I had photographs comparing the last one to the others, and measurements, and confirmation from him of what the measurements should be, he wouldn’t accept that it was their issue. It was a shame because I like their other products a lot, and love the ELMC jacket I have, but personally feel like I couldn’t order from them again. YMMV

Have you considered ProClub?
They are pretty close to the classical crew neck white t.
I wear an L (measuring 22 inches chest). Despite the torso to waist taper fits well and does not need adjustments when tucked in pants.

Don't be worried that when new it fits slightly roomy but after 10 washes at 40 celsius or so it shrinks to the advertised measurements.

Fabric is thicker 6.5 oz but keeps shape very well incl collar. I constantly wear them since 10 years and still holding up.

Do you find it? I'm looking kinda the same. I like that look from Marlon Brando whith the short sleeves and a more wide and relaxed neck

I have been buying gustin t shirts now for about 10 yrs or more and they are all fantastic no matter which ones I buy. They pretty much can accommodate you in whatever fabric, size modern fit or vintage fit. The only ones I can’t recommend are the slub Cotten as they only last 4-5 yrs before ripping apart. The only people I hear complain about gustin are over weight folks because gustin is known for a more tailored like fit. Try the heavyweight classic t shirt.
