Hi guys,
Ive recently joined tis forum after lurking for some time. Ive really enjoyed learning about quality jackets. Its really opened my eyes. I currently own a couple of Schotts,( easy rider and a naked cowhide A-2.) Im also putting the finishing touches on an order with Langlitz, which has changed direction many times! Will be ready to go as soon as soon as I can stop tweaking it for more than a week!
Ive become very interested in the shearling bomber jackets. I dont think with the limited wear I will get out of it, That Im prepared to order a new one, besides, Im already in love with a cople of aero ideas that would see more action and be handy on my motorbike. If anyone has a jacket they are considering letting go, or if this is the catalyst, let me know. I measure 48.5" chest. A size 48 in the Schott Easy rider fits me great. Im not too worried about the historical accuracy of the jacket. I like the look, and the feel of shearling.. I nearly picked up an Eastman B-3 in size 48 last week, but just wasnt sure if it was going to fit. Any ideas would be welcome....very happy to pay decent money, just not in the position to pay $1000 for a new one, when I ride my bikes alot, and have a long list of leathers to buy! benevenden@y7mail.com
