WTB: 1930s double breasted suit

Hello, forum members,

I'm looking to purchase a double breasted suit for my graduation this June from the 1930s, ideally a two or three piece one.

My waist size is 28 inches (but I'll buy anything up to a 32 waist size if there are suspender buttons) and my inseam is 30 inches (again, I'm flexible, as I'm sure length can be let out or in as needed). I fit best in a 38R for a jacket, but I can go 36R for a tighter fit or 40R for a baggier fit.

My budget (tentatively) is $500, but I am willing to negotiate. I completely understand that I am asking for something rather desirable, niche, and rare, so I am not very picky about color or pattern.

Please let me know if you have any questions or have one you would like to sell.

The last vintage 1930s 2 piece belted back suit I seen sold for over $900 on Instagram. So I can just imagine how much a 3 piece will run you.

Thank you for that information. I suppose I might want to modify my post a bit to more accurately reflect what I can buy with my budget.
