WTB—Deep, dark red or purple Grosgrain

I’m looking for some really dark wine red or plum purple vintage grosgrain ribbon from 1 1/2” to 1 3/4” wide. I need enough to do a hat, so say two yards.

I may have some...let me check later today when I return home. Also, check FiniRibbon on Etsy (they have some purple but make sure you don't buy the Petersham) and Art has some for sale on Ebay in Purple. I will check the Ebay name and post.

I know FiniRibbon has true Grosgrain ribbon in a purple/plum as I have it on my watch list.

I checked Art's ribbon he has 23 yards of a Purple that I have in my basket it is 16 ligne. I will let you know what it looks like when it arrives here. I have in my stock:
1 1/2" burgundy...an actual wine colour - quite nice.
1 3/4" Purple that is likely tooo purple for you
1 1/2" burgundy but has a definite brown undertone. Would look good with a brown felt but likely not with grey.

Let me know if you end up with a couple of yards you could spare that you think appropriate. It would be for a gray hat and the darker color the better. Thanks! David

Usually 1 yard is enough....24" around the crown, 10" for the bow, and then 2" for the keeper. I can toss it in an envelope for a buck or two. Let me know how much you want....perhaps 38" so you have a margin for error? I can sell it for cost I just have to look it up.
