World's Fair

I was at the 1986 Expo also and I agree. It was more about what each country had already done (for instance Belium's biggest claim was having someone on the moon before before the Soviets or America: he was Tintin) and not a look toward the brave new future we could face together. It was fun but I would like to see another world's fair where scientists and corporations show their ideas for the future. Even when the world of tomorrow doesn't come true as they planned, the thoughts are still great.
