Work gloves?

Hello friends,

Have any of you found any work gloves that were in keeping with your vintage wardrobe?

These past couple years I have used these Swedish military surplus gloves and they are coming up on the end of their service life. I wouldn't want to use these again - they had a cavernous thumb and they would leech orange dye all over the hands on a sweaty day.

That said, I would like to find a pair as venerable and classic in appearance, though perhaps more durable and certainly with less colour bleed ;)

What has worked for you?

I got a pair of these for Christmas last year and really like them. It is not an easy break in, but I get the sense they will really last. The glove company is based in Washington state. I also have a pair of their Maverick short gloves in deerskin and they are nice, too.

Those look great, Keith!

Try Wells LaMont gloves.

Had a chance to try these old W-L Gloves this weekend - any idea what model these are?
They don't conform to most that I have seen so they must be an older type.
