Ladies Hats

I have been advised to start a thread about ladies hats as the "post new hats here" is a guy- dominated thread. I have seen some of you ladies posting hats pictures on other threads, related to 1920's attire and not only, but I think it would be quite fun to have our ladies-only and hats-only thread. What do you think?

I only wish I had a proper vintage one to start the thread with :)o I'm working on it!), but I am sure you ladies, if you like the idea, have plenty to shows us the newbies!

On a daily basis all I wear at the moment are berets and I have a few in different colors, but I'm keen to diversify.

This was fun and I regret not buying - picture is from when trying on in the shop - I just wasn't sure I could pull it off..

Hope to do some proper vintage stuff at some point! With proper hair!

crazydaisy has anyone ever told you how much you look like Amy Acker from Angel and Dollhouse?

Not sure what it is but I think berets always suit women with shoulder length or longer hair far more than men, crazydaisy looks fabulous there in that blue beret which I would never have said would work as a colour if I saw it on a shelf.
Got my other half a beret a few weeks back in a light grey and it looks great, but she's not keen on me posting any pics of her on the web.

Keep up the posting all ladies, a great thread idea this.

N. :)

You are most kind, Paisley - it's only one of those modern mini top hats that come on an alice band for a "burlesque" look, I guess. But I do like it and I wore it at a party with an outfit that a had a mixed feel of vintage and goth about it.

Lancealot, nobody said that before to me and I didn't know who Amy Acker was until I googled her; all the same thanks for the compliment, she is a pretty lady .;)

Alucard73 your lady looks gorgeous in that hat. And I love that one she made, with the flowers!

Hungary Tom, that's a beautiful photo!

Thank you all for contributing to the thread.:)

Great hats so far!

I always knew there was something missing from the hat threads... and now I know it's the feminine presence. You ladies look very lovely! Here's a picture of my lady in my Fed IV (it's a goofy picture, I hope she doesn't mind!lol):

I'm happy to see a hats thread for the ladies! I always admire looking at hats but don't think I have anything I could wear them with. [huh]
