WTS Vintage cattleman style western hat made by "The American Hat Co." who are based in Houston Texas.
Light honey / tobacco colored brown, with a golden color fabric hatband. Quality construction, "Maxi-Felt" material. Maker Marked Sz 7 1/8.
The hat itself is in great condition with no damage, creases or color fade. The internal suede headband has some tearing to it in two places that could be sewn up and repaired if desired, but not necessary and of course not noticeable when worn. Silk lining cloth is dusty but damage free. Solid, wearable and great looking hat that I *think" was made sometime in the 70's (one of my pops)

Like everything else the new isn't as nicely made as the old.
