Winter is Upon us - Especially in the Midwest.

I'm jealous! We just had our first snow here last night and today, but it's snow according to Dutch standards.. about one inch lol Still quite white & still there though! I'm always very eager to go stay over at my brother's in Michigan, USA during the winter..

They still have the fireplaces, but don't use real wood anymore. Just gas logs.

Well, we got a foot of snow today and I spent the day cleaning off my 'snow gauges'. I took some pics of the winter wonderland as it were. If anybody else did, please add them!

Lord willing, I will be in Wisconsin on the 28th. In North Carolina, I wear shorts and T-shirts eight months out of the year. I know the Yankees among you may laugh and scratch your heads...but I can't wait to be in some real winter weather.
