Windproof ski jacket (Mid 20th century)

A ski jacket by 'Jackson and Warr Ltd'. I think this looks very nice and appears to be in a very good condition. I wish it was in my size. a good one for vintage sportswear collectors.

I am going to have a go on that. A little large, but, I can wear a nice thick jumper underneath, will be ideal for driving the car in!

Good luck. I am sure it is supposed to be worn over a heavy jumper (maybe a nice Royal Navy submariners jumper) or even over a woolen blouson jacket (similar to the styles worn by hikers/ramblers in the mid 20th century).

Is that due to the reputation Hogspear has for being somewhat generous with the description of the condition of garments?
