I don't think the author of that article knows what he's talking about

He's including the Black Keys as "hipster" band because their guitarist grows a goat bear. This is classic rock regardless a guitarist goat face;

It reminds me of Hendrix but to be fair, the guitar work is nothing special.

I don't think there is a hipster sound out there yet. Maybe bands that dress like hipsters

but nor a real artistic movement.

According to Webster's New World dictionary Hipster= a hip person,a devotee of modern jazz,a beatnik.Well I can quit worrying cause of all the different genres of music I listen to I've never been to fond of jazz.So a Hipster I'm not!! "whew"
