Why 30s/40s wool halfbelt jackets are so hard to come by

As the title suggests, it's actually difficult to find a wool, or even non-wool halfbelt. I have a rrl dark plaid, but I don't think the collar is correct, otherwise it's pretty neat, has V yoke and center pleat, no-lining, zippered pockets. Otherwise, only Aero does it and the collar is also Aeroly wrong (i'm looking for the more spread out, large, pointed collar). Sugar Cane has one on Amazin, also looks wrong. No market for it?

Are we talking about repros? If yes, I think it is all about market demand.

Scroll thru that and you will see the usual suspects like Sugar Cane (Toyo Enterprise), McCoy's, Pherrows, Warehouse, Jelado etc. You will also see brands like Cootie, Dalee's, Cushman, Gangsterville (Gladhand) etc. Even Schott (Japan), Ben Davis (Japan) have them.

I bought a Jelado one, thanks @Blackadder! I chose the largest available, obviously, looks like it'll fit. However, I didn't read the International Order instruction page and put down my credit card, it somehow both went through and not, an error message showed at the end, but my card was also temporarily charged. It seems they only take paypal for international, I emailed them, let's see.
