Hi guys

I posted this question as I was just curious purely about his jacket :).

I don’t want us to attract unwanted /negative attention to the forum if this discussion goes to a different unintended direction.

So I’d request a bartender to close or delete this thread. On Reddit people can discuss all kind of opinions.

Haha the painting!!

@Peacoat would you mind either close this thread or delete it. Don’t want to attract unwanted negative attention to this great forum.

I had to research this. Very entertaining read, in spirit with anything related to the president-elect sir Donald John Trump.

Lol Trump being annoyed with the unfinished hand is gold.

But that's the thing - At no point did this thread devolve into politics.

We're talking about Elon Musk, not politics. Nobody mentioned anything even remotely related to politics and closing this thread because people expressed dislike for Musk would be the same as closing down the thread because someone didn't like Tom Cruise as an actor.

Elon Musk is not a politician and (dis)liking Elon Musk has nothing to do with ones political disposition.

Shutting down discussions about CEO's is what makes it political. Talking, or even arguing about them - Doesn't.
Yeah, sure, the thread has become better after this political post of yours was deleted. Are you for real? PS - I still think the thread should be locked.

"I fully admit I am envious of his ability to remain such a sweet, innocent, infantile man-child.

"lEtS CaLl tHe pReSiDeNtIaL AdViSoRy CoMmIsSiOn D.o.G.e. bRo So FuNnY lIkE tHe mEme!"

"dArK GoThIc mAgA!"

Even with all the money, I refuse to believe this guy actually scored. He would be too much of a caricature even for the remake of the Revenge of the Nerds. Even in all these jackets.

But at least he makes cars. I mean, what world really needs is more different cars. Big, boxy ones, too, that take up more space because God knows what cities suffer from most is too much space. So more different cars is going to help. Cars and calling the presidential advisory commission DOGE.

Imagine having a job and this piece of shit walks in, hauling a sink and fires you...

Maybe more cars really is what the world needs."

Forums thrive on discussion...new threads promote discussion....most people don't click on an old thread every time someone posts a new question...
If you don't click on an old thread, even though it slides to the top of the first page, you won't contribute anything. The outerware section lives from a relatively small group and the rest are just visitors who only consume. In this respect, you can certainly post questions in a special question thread.

what is with this forum and not starting new threads.....Forums thrive on discussion...new threads promote discussion....most people don't click on an old thread every time someone posts a new question...
I have to agree with you here. Recently I have seen several instances where veteran members have commented that something didn’t warrant a thread or instead should have been posted as a question within a catchall question thread.
I strongly disagree with this attempt to organize or curate the forum into a more logical, streamlined tome of knowledge. It’s just a bunch of guys talking about jackets after all, if I see something that doesn’t look interesting to me I ignore it and move on to something that does.
I will say that there have been instances where one member starts two or three threads all getting at the same point (like the dude who was impatiently waiting for his Aero jacket recently) and in those cases, I completely agree that it should have all been contained in one thread and it is good to point that out.
At the end of the day, it’s not a big deal either way, but I just feel like people should feel free to start threads if they are so inclined and the rest of us are free to ignore them
