If you don't have North by Northwest on DVD, buy it now. He wears Brooks Brothers suits off the rack (back when BB was BB) in that film, though I'm sure that he'd be just as suave in a pair of sneekers, jeans and a t-shirt.

.

I added Clark Gable because I think that he is a good canidate.

I think Errol is very dashing....but not because of his clothes. He is just a good looking guy who looked great in adventure movies. Thoughts?

Well, since I can't vote for William Powell, :( I voted for Cary Grant. Another favorite of mine, and my wife's favorite; as she puts it, "Be still, my heart!"

Tough choices...I voted for Cary Grant although my hand was hovering over the Clark Gable button. Grant was my choice simply because of the length of his career. He was so stylish as a young man but also carried himself so wonderfully as a silver haired gentleman...a true icon for the 20th Century (and now too, of course! We need you Cary Grant!):)
