You'd be amazed at some of the colors Borsalino did in the 70s, I have a bright ( read that BRIGHT) green felt from that era that I haven't made...for lack of courage:)

Thanks for the tip

I kinda like that hat. It would go great with that stuff I picked up at Frederick's of Hollywood.
All seriousness aside ... I just may bid on that lid, although I wouldn't let my offer go much above an hour's pay. I could wear it on certain special occasions, such as the annual Pride Parade, New Year's Eve, or the regional meeting of the Family Research Council (when in Rome, et cetera). Or I could just give it to a girl who would look cute in it. Cuter than me, anyway.

Never can tell

You know, the more I look at that hat, the more I like it. And I'm guessing I'm not the only one who is interested in it. Indeed, I wager it will go for more than I would normally be willing to pay. I'm so convinced, in fact, that I'm willing to bet 50 bucks that it will sell for at least 50 bucks. Any takers?

Actually guys, Wildroot has a hat pretty similar to that one. I have seen it on him and they were around in the Golden Era. (Although, I know that that particular Bolsalino would be too modern for him).

I know that this hat looks Pimp Daddy-O but I guess you've never seen a purple hat coupled with a vintage '30s suit. It's a brave look but one that can be carried off if very careful.

I'll try and find some pictures to illustrate this point.
