I had this for sale briefly last summer, then decided to keep it and wear it more often. That never happened, and now it's been a year since I last wore it, so I'm going to offer it up again, and the heck with sentiment. I have too many hats sitting in boxes.

This is an Art Fawcett VS, the circumference measures 23 1/4, and $225 gets it "economy shipped" for free in the CONUS:

Sorry, Aaron, I only just now saw your post. As to being home-made, I bought a pack of 4 of them on Ebay. Two were this pretty (I had to do some sanding, and put a rubber tip on the end, that's all), and two were just plug-ugly space fillers in the box. I have one here in the mountains and another down in San Jose where I live part time. I get a lot of nice compliments on them as I hike. You can find them on Ebay, just search for diamond willow sticks, and you'll have lots to choose from.
