Okay, I'll bite. I'm a bit surprised that Islam rated above Buddhism, but overall I'm comfortable with the results. No Personal Beliefs System rattling revelations. I feel validated. :)

<table border='0' cellpadding='5' cellspacing='0' width='600'><tr><td><img src="http://quizfarm.com/images/1110081242Christianity_turquoise-white.jpg"></td><td> You scored as <b>Christianity</b>. Your views are most similar to those of Christianity. Do more research on Christianity and possibly consider being baptized and accepting Jesus, if you aren't already Christian.

Christianity is the second of the Abrahamic faiths; it follows Judaism and is followed by Islam. It differs in its belief of Jesus, as not a prophet nor historical figure, but as God in human form. The Holy Trinity is the concept that God takes three forms: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost (sometimes called Holy Spirit). Jesus taught the idea of instead of seeking revenge, one should love his or her neighbors and enemies. Christians believe that Jesus died on the cross to save humankind and forgive people's sins.<br><br><table border='0' width='300' cellspacing='0' cellpadding='0'><tr><td><p><font face='Arial' size='1'>Christianity</font></p></td><td><table border='1' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0' width='83' bgcolor='#dddddd'><tr><td></td></tr></table></td><td><font face='Arial' size='1'>83%</font></td></tr><tr><td><p><font face='Arial' size='1'>Islam</font></p></td><td><table border='1' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0' width='63' bgcolor='#dddddd'><tr><td></td></tr></table></td><td><font face='Arial' size='1'>63%</font></td></tr><tr><td><p><font face='Arial' size='1'>Buddhism</font></p></td><td><table border='1' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0' width='54' bgcolor='#dddddd'><tr><td></td></tr></table></td><td><font face='Arial' size='1'>54%</font></td></tr><tr><td><p><font face='Arial' size='1'>Hinduism</font></p></td><td><table border='1' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0' width='54' bgcolor='#dddddd'><tr><td></td></tr></table></td><td><font face='Arial' size='1'>54%</font></td></tr><tr><td><p><font face='Arial' size='1'>Paganism</font></p></td><td><table border='1' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0' width='46' bgcolor='#dddddd'><tr><td></td></tr></table></td><td><font face='Arial' size='1'>46%</font></td></tr><tr><td><p><font face='Arial' size='1'>Judaism</font></p></td><td><table border='1' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0' width='42' bgcolor='#dddddd'><tr><td></td></tr></table></td><td><font face='Arial' size='1'>42%</font></td></tr><tr><td><p><font face='Arial' size='1'>agnosticism</font></p></td><td><table border='1' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0' width='13' bgcolor='#dddddd'><tr><td></td></tr></table></td><td><font face='Arial' size='1'>13%</font></td></tr><tr><td><p><font face='Arial' size='1'>Satanism</font></p></td><td><table border='1' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0' width='13' bgcolor='#dddddd'><tr><td></td></tr></table></td><td><font face='Arial' size='1'>13%</font></td></tr><tr><td><p><font face='Arial' size='1'>atheism</font></p></td><td><table border='1' cellpadding='0' cellspacing='0' width='13' bgcolor='#dddddd'><tr><td></td></tr></table></td><td><font face='Arial' size='1'>13%</font></td></tr></td></tr></table><br><a href='http://quizfarm.com/test.php?q_id=10907'>Which religion is the right one for you? Very interesting...

I would have guessed Agnostic first, Christianity second, Judaism third but after reading the synopsis of Buddhism it makes sense. Further investigation necessary?

Buddhism 71%
Agnosticism 63%
Judaism 54%
Paganism 50%
Christianity 46%
Atheism 42%
Islam 38%
Hinduism 29%
Satanism 29%

Well, haven't taken it yet. I will. but it seems like it might have one flaw. You can believe 99% of a religions ideas, but if you don't believe that Jesus was god, or Mohamad was a prophet, or that God chose the jews as his chosen people, for example, you will never be a christian or a muslim or a jew.

I took the test and came out preceisely where i thought i would minus a few points toward the top of Christianity. The questions didn't delve deep enough to seperate but it was interesting.
But i really don't see how a person cannot be called Christian because he or she does not believe in the Trinity. Many faiths believe of the seperation of God and Christ and that they are not the same being.I'm most certainly a Christian and do not believe in the Trinity. But that delves into doctrine and is not something that should be discussed here(in my honest opinion).Thats what starts too many arguments.

Very interesting poll results. At first the Athiest/Agnostic/None numbers were higher. But i see that is changing.

This quiz sounds useless. Last time I took one of these things was in high scool supposedly to determine a career best suited for oneself. My verdict was "mortuary science".

Oddly, this quiz does not distinguish between christianity and catholicism I don't think. I was raised catholic and feel qualified to comment a litle on that.

You could be a catholic and not believe in the trinity, but technically you are supposed to. But I think many christians don't. It is a catholic doctrinal thing. I think most christians simply believe you must take jesus as the son of god nand your own personal savior.

Nothing agains the concept of the trinity, but how can we as humans even begin to comprehend the nature of god. The trinity seems more of a metaphor than any real description of the characteristics of god.

But for the record I am neither Christian or Catholic now, so I am only commenting on my impressions, not what I tthink is right or what anyone else ought to think.

Thats the great part of being American:Freedom of speech.
We,as humans, can comprehend God from what the Bible says.Thats it.
But i agree,we puny humans have a difficult time pondering the planet we live on much less a Grand Designer.

I get the agnostic, which is pretty consistent with how I view myself, but I have to admit I'm a little puzzled by the Satanism coming in at #2. After all, if I'm not sure about God, then why in Hell (pun intended) would I believe in Satan?

I'm also sad that Paganism came in so low. I guess that ends my chances of being elected grand Poo-bah at the next Solstice festival.

Did you mean..."We,as CHRISTIANS,can comprehend God from what the Bible says.Thats it."?
Because I don't think Jews, Druids, Bhuddists, Satanists, Sikhs, Moslems, Odinists, Hindus, Nonbelievers, etc comprehend god through the bible.

Hmmmmm
A person doesn't need to of said faith to comprehend anothers beliefs in my opinion.Comprehension is not based only on heart. It can be cerebral.
I comprehend a Beethoven piano sonata and what the composer was thinking yet am not a composer myself.I learned from years of reading and study.
I have Jewish friends who comprehend what Christiananity is and God as well.but they are still jewish.

Just my thoughts mind you.

I have never been one to place a great deal of faith in a document (the bible, Koran or other religious documents) written by humans in outdated languages, then translated multiple times by other humans - all of whom had their own agendas - and I have never been one to put much faith in them other than as a set of guidelines. I absolutely do NOT believe that any of these, especially the bible, can be "the word of God" when so many people have had their fingers in it and could impose their own interpretations on it over a period of time.

The fact that people actually base their beliefs on religious documents on a word for word basis astounds and flabbergasts me. It seems to display, in equal parts, an act of faith and one of gullilbility. No offense meant, that's just how I feel.

Therefore, it may be no surprise that I scored this way:

agnosticism 96%
Islam 83%
atheism 63%
Satanism 50%
Judaism 50%
Paganism 46%
Buddhism 46%
Christianity 42%
Hinduism 42%

But of course, any quiz is only worth what is put into it in terms of design, wording, AND the scoring mechanism used to score answers. All are highly questionable in this case....just as questionable as putting faith in the literal wording of any religious work.

I admire everyone's ability to discuss this without trying to change anyone else's mind.

As far as your comment on Satanism, as well as others", I think the issue is that this modern guy, Anton LeVey, has founded a church of Satanism and claims it is all about puttinig yourself first. He is pretty silly in my opinion.

Whereas to me, if I were going to be a true Satanist, I would try my best to be evil and counter all the good in the world. In exchange I would expect to be granted special powers here on earth. Mind you, I said if.

While I don't necesserily disagree, or agree. I think this is getting very dangerously into the area where some people might take offense. I suggest we all be very careful in what we say in this thread, or shut it down, lest we all get mad at each other.
