Which of your jackets gets the most attention?

I’m still very much anticipating Hypatia d pocket to drop. I’ve cut him some slack for the season timing but once the holidays are over the email blast will look like:

Now that I have a decent sample size (about 15 outings in my new Hercules sport jacket in russet), I can say that I have gotten "nice jacket" comments roughly 1/3 of the time (5 times). Just today I walked up to an ATM and a guy did not wait half a second to tell me "nice jacket". I am always nice back and say "thanks, appreciate the comment". I am grateful to Tony for the jacket, hide quality and the price point. Hope he is doing well in his new venture.

I'm lucky I get a fair amount of compliments or comments on most of my jackets. Truthfully I'm a little vain about it. If I don't get a compliment, comment, or at least some looks on a jacket I think about if I really want it or not. It at least gets bumped down the rotation or benched for a while. I half joke but there is some truth to that. I don't need the reassurance from others but it does make me question if my habit thinks its cool when its really not. This doesn't mean I move on from a jacket but it does give me pause. At the end of the day they are for me and not anyone else.

Hands down without question my most complimented jacket is the Eastman B3. Its not even a contest when that's put in the mix. After that the modern Cal LAPD, especially the collar (I see a pattern), and third goes to the Schott 671 HH. Fourth goes to too many to sort..

Haha, it’s the longer shirt underneath, the length of the jacket is exactly where it should be, it ends above my Carhartt jeans, & If I wear period correct high pants, it’s cover my pants by 2” or more. I used to wear the “modernized” Schott 118 & Vanson, but the 26” back makes my leg look short. I’m six foot one, regular proportioned. The only 26” length bike jacket I would wear is the curved pack type, like CHP, Terminator etc, I don’t like the long & tubular body style of today’s MC jackets

The J23 has passed my Chopper in record time. Today, two pretty ladies said my J23 was cool and beautiful. I responded, “thanks, but what am I, a potted plant”. They said “you look very good, too good to be a gramps actually”. Effin millenials made this “old” man chuckle.

Lol. Well allow me to rub it in...My first was walking from the hotel to the Americana Restaurant in Cincy. Then inside the CVS down the street from the restaurant. Great jacket. Many thanks HH.

Today, I started the journey of helping/convincing/bugging my co-worker pick out his first Mc jacket. He’s a young man in mid 20s, slender & pale, nice guy, & secretly been liking the Grease look?!! Lol. So I have him a lesson on MC jacket & D pocket etc. I think he’s overwhelmed.

Well the most outrageous part are probably the red cristals... Funny that I thought that this jacket was way too excessive when I first looked at it, then kept looking at it until I really wanted it and finally pulled the trigger on the first black HH one.

I have had that exact experience a couple times myself. The most recent time was with my Vanson Chopper. The first time I saw this jacket I actually disliked it. Over the course of a couple years dislike became curiosity and ultimately desire.
