I'm sure Orlando doesn't see stuff like that. He'd gladly clean my hat but I'm immerse in a do-it-myself project.

NYC, well, Brooklyn especially is loaded with hat stores, Bencraft hatters is pretty notable- i'd give them a call and see if they stock it. if not, maybe they can suggest someone/place

If you are in the middle of a project and have a hat disassembled, you might want to consider using the naptha treatment. A few of our members have used it with good results.
Do a search for the thread to read up on the procedure.

I've never tried the stuff, so I cant recommend it either. What we have tried here are the following cleaning products:
1) Everbloom -Its similar to acetone but much more diluted . We've been using it for years . They have changes the formula recently so its not as strong as before but it seemd to get out basic stains.
Goop Off- Much stronger than Everbloom. Works on more stubborn stains . Do not use on grosgrain ribbons.
Windex- Believe it or not , it does work. The ammnonia does get out minor stains as well.
Now , we work on mostly dark colors here so I cant comment on using these products on pastel colors. But today , most stores dont want to bother cleaning hats because it never comes out 100% . Somtimes it can make it worse. But if you want to practice on an old hat try some of these odeas. They might help.

To answer the original question, you can buy Scout hat products at Manhattan Wardrobe Supply:

It's on West 29th Street. I had a lot of fun browsing around this theatrical supply house for an hour or so. They have low prices on hat brushes, and have very nice, beefy hat stretchers if you're in the market for one.

Doink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of Course...........:eusa_doh:
