ok, i love this hat.

1960's Saks Fifth Avenue stingy.

but, it's a 7 1/4, and i really take a 7 or 7 1/8 in some cases. it's too big and sets on my ears. i've padded it out in the back, but i can't make it fit without deforming the sweatband.

is it time to let it go? trade for something in my size?

anyone else had the same dilema?

I use the same logic for hats as I do clothing. If it doesn't fit/look right, or I don't wear it much, I get rid of it. Trading is not a bad idea, or selling on Ebay. For hats I got real cheap, sometimes Goodwill.

In your case, with your facial features, you could easily look good in a higher crown, wider brim hat.

Why do you ask?

I'm currently that way with a 60's Resistol stingy brim that I own... I don't like it ON me, I just REALLY like the hat. I fear if I sell it, I'll regret it... but if I don't wear it, to me it's being wasted.
