I'm a little late in coming to this thread, but just thought I'd add mine. Not that it's anything special or anything. It's my "business" website; that is, I started out a few years back doing wedding photography. I grew tired of it - not the art of photography, just the constant going on weekends and working a regular full-time job during the week. I still love photography and do portraits on the side. I haven't updated this in ages, so it's all my older images.

My website is the one that gives me that feeling of butterflies whenever I click on the page to see what people are saying about what makes them happy in life. It's the site where lessons are learned and people don't get pushed around because of an untalked about class system. It's where your name is displayed in the left for all to see. Where friends are made quick and enemiews are band.

My website still carries old school Americana in it's veins even when Europeana and Asiana sometimes see Americana as selfrightious and self serving. On my favorite webpage we still hold truth liberty and the pursuit of hapiness as our bannner.

Boy Scouts and apple pie. Clothes that fit and people who gotta dance.

My page is the Fedora Lounge and it is the nesting ground for style on the web.

I have been the editor for the Philosophy Department of UNC-A for several years now.
I got appointed to web editor for the Flood Art Gallery only a few days ago... so there is much basic work that needs to be done there before anything really significant happens. There was a very basic page already there, but there were many problems with it (uniformity, simplicity, security, spelling errors, dead links, fonts, layout, etc.) Much still needs to be done with it. I'm basing a lot of my improvements on the template that I used to make the Philosophy web page.

An administrative question

I notice that a number of us responding to this thread (including myself) have listed the websites that we use professionally to promote ourselves and our work. Do these links have to be removed in view of the new rules on advertising?

I've been a professional belly dancer for umm, over 10 years now. Well over ten years. :p It's not my day job, but it is my passion, and I do right well by it (and it by me).

During the day I am a not-so-mild-mannered technical editor.

Here's my site
It hasn't been updated in a while. It's just a compilation of pictures from my travels with family and friends, as well as a few pages dedicated to my 2 year old nephew, Isaac.
This thread is really giving me a kick in the pants! I really need to update my site. Check back soon, I'm hoping to have pictures of this years QM as well as pictures from my recent trip to Rome and Venice, up soon.

I really enjoyed your site, especially the photo sets of the Eternal City, which were truly lovely!
