What's your 'grab-and-go' jacket...?

This is the one I always grab-

If you look closely, it’s from Mossimo/ Target. Got it on sale for $15 and gave it a dye job. I love all the pockets and the button-up front.
If it’s drizzly out, I tend to grab this:

I found it in a second-hand shop in SF. The waxed cotton keeps me dry.

When it's cold, my go to jacket is actually the same as my favorite jacket. My Freewheelers Sunset is my softest and most comfortable jacket so it's my go to when it's cold enough to wear it.

When it's a bit warmer it's a toss up between my LVC Triple Pleat and my Ooe Yofukuten moleskin cossack.

Interesting most of jacket are not leather jacket.
I also had one of my black mc jackets which I wear a lot in mind, but for me a grab and go jacket is a jacket that can be worn with any of my shoes: brown or black boots, dress shoes or even sneakers.
In that sense a black or brown leather jacket is less versatile than a mixed color wool jacket for instance.

I use leather for occasions mainly. Blue moon date night, maybe Target run. But leather for me is way more of an occasion
I agree with this. When I put on one of my leathers, it feels like I’m making some kind of statement or playing dress-up a bit. Sometimes that’s a great thing to do, but most of the time I want to be more “under the radar.” I keep buying leather jackets hoping for that perfect “beat around” vibe, I might have it with the Kehoe once it’s adjusted... It is the perfect grab-n-go weight. My Highwayman is too heavy, and my Goodwear still feels too fancy for everyday activities.

Interesting. I'm comfortable using leather jackets as daily drivers, but I can definitely understand how they could be considered special occasion pieces or "dress up" for others.

For the last 15 years, it has been my Buco J-100. I sold it this year decided it was large on me I lost weight and was looking for a change.

After two failed attempts, I replace the Buco with a Himel Kensington in black, of course, shinki oil-tanned horsehide. I anticipate the Kensington will become my go-to jacket, I will not know for sure until this coming fall.

The recent smaller Star Glove that came in this week my give the Kensington a run for the money

I don’t have a grab-and-go. I have several favourite jackets (both cloth and leather) that I keep in the rotation and I’m trying to sell those that is not in the list of favourites.

I’ll wear leather to the grocery store or anywhere. I bought all those jackets because I love wearing them. To me leather feels casual. They don’t make me feel like I’m dressing up or in a costume.

The only item that I never wear on daily errands are my tweed suit. I know it’s tweed and all but it still feels too formal for an errand run. I’ve only worn it for work and once on a winter time wedding.
