I like all kinds of pie.
My mother used to make a glorious rhubarb pie. Rhubarb and strawberry pie is good too.
I know someone that always bakes an apple pie and is very proud of it and no-one wants to say that it isn't good.
My new favorite (although I haven't had one in years) is Boston Cream pie.:essen:

Actually, I have seldom met a pie I didn't like. The act of putting something in a pastry crust renders it delicious. But I absolutely adore cherry pie.

Apple pie. I make it from scratch and add finely chopped almonds in the crust, a mixture of apples picked up from the farmer's market, raw sugar (not granulated), a bit of brandy in the filling and an egg wash on the top crust. It's really fun to make.
